Florastein: A Frankenstein Story

For class, I was assigned a project to redesign a character from classic literature, with a new genre. I drew from a hat and I got Frankenstein's Monster, and I chose fantasy as my new genre.
The monster now has a name, and she calls herself Rubbish. After getting her hands on a staff stored in Frankenstein's lab, she accidentally cast a spell on the mad warlock himself and caused plants to remove his arms. She fled, and decided that because she was now leaving the laboratory, she earned the title of Rubbish. She got the ability to communicate and emote from Agatha DeLacey, a blind seer who grants wishes. Rubbish went on to create a school for children who want to pursue adventuring.
I essentially wanted to take the key elements of the Frankenstein's story and make them more whimsical and optimistic. While the genre change is certainly a twist, the biggest change I made to these characters was the creature's interaction with the DeLaceys, who are now helpful instead of destructive.
